MAKE IN VIET NAM - Lung Tam, Ha Giang's brocade linen fabric

The emerging trend of sustainable fashion is drawing attention back to traditional materials.


Hemp fabric waved by Mong people are among the most durable materials, which took nearly 41 careful manual steps to make. Mong people is also well-known for their bee-wax batik drawing techniques, with patterns and textiles inspired by their natural-friendly lifestyle and community spirit.

Products made by Lung Tam Hemp & Textile Fabric have been recognized by famous design brands, where they have been ensure the quality of the threads and the thread density. The fabric is naturally dyed with local-grown leaves, roots and woods. With skills and satisfying conditions, the color shades come out deep and durable. As a craft products, the color shades may differ each time, making it become “limited edition”.


Not only producing quality products, Lung Tam Hemp & Textile Fabric also creates jobs for the locals, empower the women and help preserve the beautiful culture of local indigenous groups.
