The RMIT Alumni Green Showcase 2024 is an inspiring project that VAN•HOA is proud to be a part of. This challenge goes beyond creating a visually appealing exhibition space—it is about transforming creativity into a sustainable solution that minimizes environmental impact and promotes a green lifestyle.
In the journey of optimizing brand experiences, we recognize that many marketing and advertising activities today unintentionally generate a significant amount of waste. This is particularly evident in events, where design products are often used briefly and then discarded, despite being carefully crafted.
Understanding the importance of a product's lifecycle, VAN•HOA collaborates with RMIT University Vietnam to spread the green message at this year’s exhibition. Focusing on reuse and recycling, we apply CIRCO Design method to develop the Green Spiral concept which symbolizes continuous cycles and movement. Inspired by the spirals of nature—from seashells and galaxies to new plant shoots—the exhibition space becomes a dynamic flow of ideas, with each material telling a story of regeneration and sustainable growth.

As the team behind the entire concept and construction of the exhibition, VAN•HOA integrates the Green Spiral concept into every stage—from initial sketches to design, production, and installation. A key feature is the use of eco-friendly materials like wood and fabric, alongside flexible booth designs that are easy to disassemble and upgrade, allowing for reuse in future events.
Following the Reuse – Reduce – Recycle principle, the booths are designed without adhesives or glue, making it easier for businesses to disassemble and expand the design for future use.
Each booth is flexible, easy to assemble, and reusable for future exhibitions.
The exhibition brings together 15 environmentally-conscious businesses from various industries, including Jamlos, Bobi Craft, The Curator, Foret et Feu, GreenMat, and more. With the Green Spiral concept, each booth becomes a unique piece that delivers a sustainability message while showcasing the distinct identity of each brand.
Through this exhibition, VAN•HOA emphasizes the role of creative design in promoting a sustainable lifestyle. Creativity is not just art—it’s the foundation of a circular process that helps businesses embrace sustainability and move closer to meeting ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) standards, which measure a company’s commitment to sustainability and social impact.

Living sustainably is not easy. For VAN•HOA, the RMIT Alumni Green Showcase 2024 marks the beginning of a journey toward circular design practices and sustainable living. This direction will guide many of VAN•HOA’s future projects.
